REDESIGN

Redesign TEREPCO
  • Obsolete components without equivalent substitutes
  • Repeated failure of a component in a stage of the assembly
  • Extending the functionality of an existing assembly
  • Adaptation to a more modern circuit topology
  • Adaptation to modern production technologies

OBSOLETE COMPONENTS

Obsolete components are probably the most frequent reason for a redesign. If there is no comparable component available with respect to specification and component outlines, a redesign is the correct answer.

WORST-CASE-ANALYSIS

If an assembly repeatedly fails because of the same failure, one might speak of a design error. To eradicate this, you must first investigate the error. This is done in a WCA. All parameters of the components and the circuits are brought to the maximum value in the positive and negative directions, respectively. This is done by a simulation and is later compared with the practical measurements of the prototype.

EXTENDING FUNCTIONALITY

The application of the customer has changed, and so the functionality of the module has to be adapted.

ADAPTATION TO A MORE MODERN CIRCUIT TOPOLOGY

An adaptation always generates lower product costs.

ADAPTATION TO MODERN PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIES

To reduce the production costs of an assembly, it is adapted to modern production technologies.
